In case you might have missed it last week, American Idol is back and going strong for season seven. Unlike the previous two seasons when bona fide multi-platinum superstars Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry were produced, last year's show has failed to produce a top-selling music talent so far. Will this season be different than last year? Well, judging by what the judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson have been saying so far, I'd have to say the answer is YES! Of course, it's too early to have a favorite yet, but I'm sure as we get closer to trimming the field down to 24, that I will have some I'm rooting for.
