It just happened minutes ago at Yankee stadium off the newly acquired Kyle Davies of the Kansas City Royals - a three run shot, and his major league leading 36th home run of the year! Congrats to A-Rod on this historic achievement. At 32, he reaches this milestone at a younger age than any other player previously!

In the Ricoh Women's British Open, Lorena Ochoa is looking to get the "major monkey" off her back, and she's well on the way to doing that as she stands at six under par - six strokes ahead of Sweden's Linda Wessberg going into tomorrow's final round. Ochoa shot her second consecutive even par round of 73, to go with her opening round of 6-under-par 67. Scoring conditions were EXTREMELY difficult on Saturday as only three players managed to break par - Wessberg, fellow Swede Maria Hjorth, along with American Stacy Prammanasudh all shot one under par 72's. 26 players failed to break 80, including big-name Americans Sherri Steinhauer (80), Beth Daniel (80), Juli Inkster (82), Meg Mallon (83), and Scotland's Catriona Matthew (81) who was only one stroke of Ochoa going into the third round. Amongst the notables hoping for a miracle, Annika Soranstam is seven strokes back at +1, Paula Creamer is another two strokes back at +3, Karrie Webb is at +5, and last week's winner, Natalie Gulbis stands at +6... You can catch a glimpse of the leaderboard here: Women's British Open Leaderboard. You can also watch tape-delayed (not live as I had previously posted) final round coverage beginning at 1PM ET/10AM PT on your local ABC affiliate.
