Live From Augusta... it's the Masters!

If only I could be there. The Augusta National Golf Club has to be one of the most picturesque places in the entire world! Today begins perhaps my favorite sporting event of all, the Masters golf tournament. Over the years, I've seen so many magical moments - the Nicklaus charge to win his 6th Green Jacket at age 46 in 1986, Fred Couples' final round shot on the par 3 12th hole in 1992 which somehow managed to stay dry instead of doing like everyone else's short shot and going into the water. Who can forget Tiger Woods' amazing debut in 1997? After a seemingly disastrous four over par 40 on the front nine, he was 22 under par his final 63 holes to win going away. How about 2004 and Phil Mickelson getting the monkey off his back and winning his first major with a long birdie putt on 18 (2nd picture above)? What kind of history will be written this week? Four days from now at this time we should well know. I can't wait for it to begin. Live coverage begins on the Golf Channel at 12pm ET/9am PT today. Click on the link below to see real-time scoring:

In other news, Carrie Underwood has her fourth consecutive #1 hit on the Country charts as "Wasted" passes Tim McGraw's "Last Dollar (Fly Away" for the pole position. What an amazing run for the incredible Miss Underwood! Carrie is working on her 2nd album - scheduled to be released sometime late this year....
