For 24 minutes last night, the ENTIRE Los Angeles Lakers basketball team seemed to be taking a little siesta. I didn't see really anyone giving 100% effort... as a result, the crosstown rival Clippers were only down 49-41 at halftime. I'm not sure what coach Phil Jackson told the tropps during the intermission, but whatever it was it certainly worked. The Lakers blitzed the Clippers with a barrage of TWELVE 3-pointers in the second half, leading by as many as 40 points at one point before finishing with a 119-82 victory. All 11 Lakers that played scored between six and 17 points, and Kobe & Pau both got to sit on the bench the entire fourth quarter. With the San Antonio Spurs loss last night to the Denver Nuggets, the Lakers moved back into the #1 spot in the Western Conference standings!
