BYU Beats Bruins in Las Vegas Bowl

All I can say is the I was glad to be out at a Christmas get-together and ornament exchange with friends, rather than watching my Bruins suffer through one more tough, heartbreaking loss under the current era. The BYU Cougars held a 17-16 lead over the UCLA Bruins in the Las Vegas Bowl late in the 4th quarter. The Bruins drove down the field, 85 yards to the 11 yard line in just over three minutes. As time expired, the Bruins attempted a 28 yard field goal to win the game, but it was blocked by Eathyn Manumaleuna of the Cougars and with that it was over. With the win, BYU finishes the season on a 10 game winning streak and with a 11-2 record. The Bruins in the meantime finish with a 6-7 record.
