Leona Makes Spirited Debut!

In case you didn't know, Leona Lewis' debut album Spirit came out in the U.S. this past Tuesday, and given the huge success of her single "Bleeding Love," the huge first week sales of the album are not at all surprising. In it's first week, Spirit sold over 205,000 copies and debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Additionally, "Bleeding Love" remains #1 on Billboard's Pop 100 chart for a third week, and returns to the #1 spot for a second week on the Hot 100 chart. With sales of nearly 225,000 units, the song also returns to #1 on the two Billboard digital sales charts... Finally, "Bleeding Love" is about to hit #1 on the pop airplay chart - currently, it sits 223 spins behind the Jordin Sparks/Chris Brown duet "No Air." With "Bleeding Love" gaining about 150 spins a day on the current leader, look for it to hit #1 on Saturday. Congratulations to Leona on her continued amazing success here worldwide and now in America!
